Sanding and glossing

<   Hotcoat applied to bottom. This is best done in warm dry dust free area where there is minimal airflow as any draft will create an "orange peel" texture or "bloom". If this happens this will increase sanding time at the next stage.

The tape applied to the rail hangs free to allow the self levelling hot coat to run freely over the edge of the rail and prevents drips on the deck. The hot coat includes a wax in styrene mixture which not only allows it to self level but acts as a sanding agent for the next stage. Without the agent it would be practically impossible to sand.
